Devising: A Making Theatre Workshop - Oct. 22 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

An introduction to the devising process. This beginners’ course takes you through the process of creating an original, short performance piece primarily through improvisation and collaborative creation. Here, theatre begins without a script and it is ‘written’ as you work alongside members of the ensemble in the spirit of fun, creative risk-taking. No prior acting experience is needed. Costuming For Beginners - Nov. 12 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

An introductory course for those interested in working with costumes on a theatrical production. We will discuss a day in the life of a costumer, ways to costume shows on a tight budget, costuming resources, and learn some basic sewing skills.
