SUMMARY OF SHOW:
In the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow, stories of wonder and strangeness surround the legend of a mighty headless Hessian. When the humble schoolteacher Ichabod Crane vies for the hand of the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel, the townsfolk might protest, but it is ultimately the Horseman who will decide his fate.

Ichabod Crane: a Connecticut schoolteacher
Geoffrey Crayon: a New Yorker of distinction
Brom Bones: a roistering blade
Katrina Van Tassel: a country coquette
Baltus Van Tassel: a gentleman farmer
Hans Van Ripper: another gentleman farmer
Parson Van Houten: a man of faith
Rupert Van Brunt: a spiteful schoolboy
Gunpowder: a weatherbeaten nag
Otto Van Lancker: a willing believer
Old Brouwer: a willful disbeliever
Headless Horseman: a headless Hessian mercenary
Other Characters: Villagers, students, country girls, sleepy hollow boys, old men, a skeleton

Special note: Ability to do a Dutch accent a plus! But not required!

Actors should present a headshot and resume, if available. All actors should be prepared to read from the script. Actors may be asked to attend a callback audition at the discretion of the director.

Rehearsals and performances will be held at the Pearl Theater located at 14803 Park Almeda Dr. Houston, TX 77047. Any/all known conflicts should be disclosed prior to or at auditions and confirmed at the first read-through.

Additional calls for the purposes of costume parade, Publicity photos, and other issues pertaining to production will be scheduled as needed by the Stage Management.
