SUMMARY OF SHOW:
In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids–probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!
This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday treat! Features favorite Christmas Carols, and a lot of laughs!
CHARACTERS/CASTING NEEDS:
Seeking boys ages 8-12
AUDITION PROCEDURES:
Actors should present a headshot and resume, if available. All actors should be prepared to read from the script. (Baby angels may not need to read)
REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE LOCATIONS:
Rehearsals and performances will be held at the Pearl Theater located at 14803 Park Almeda Dr. Houston, TX 77047. Any/all known conflicts should be disclosed prior to or at auditions and confirmed at the first read-through. Additional calls for the purposes of costume parade, Publicity photos, and other issues pertaining to production will be scheduled as needed by the Stage Management.
TENTATIVE REHEARSAL DAYS AND TIMES:
Tuesday & Thursdays 6:30-8:30
Saturdays 1:00-4:00
Tech Week 11/27-12/1 6:00-9:00
COMPENSATION/FEES: This is a non-paying gig. No youth production fees are required.
NOTIFICATION: All auditioners will be notified of casting decisions either way.
