Antony and Cleopatra

Performances October 20- November 5, 2017

Antony and Cleopatra, the original celebrity couple, are brought to dynamic life by William Shakespeare. Combining high drama, low comedy, wit, and tragedy Antony and Cleopatra is the tale of a famous general and leader of Rome who rolls the dice and gambles on love with his spirited mistress Cleopatra, ruler of Egypt, passionate, beautiful, and dangerous. Considered by some scholars to be Shakespeare's underrated masterpiece, this tale will fill the intimate space of the Pearl with spectacle, music, poetry and passion.
